A practical session looking at the pedagogy of learning combined with the creation of practical resources.

Each session consists of understanding the language for learning and the language of learning.

The Equality Act 2012 (1:15 pm to 3:15 pm)

The Equality Act 2010, which comes in to force in April 2012, has replaced all existing equality legislation such as the Race Relations Act, Disability Discrimination Act and Sex Discrimination Act.

This session covers a review of the Equality 2010 and schools' public sector equality duty. Specific duties for schools and actions schools might need to take.
